Craig Yonemura DDS MS, private practice, San Francisco A Bay Area native, Dr. Craig Yonemura graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelors degree and double major in physiology/anatomy and sociology. He did three years of basic science research at the University of California at San Francisco before enrolling in dental school at the University. After earning his doctorate, he attended The University of California at Los Angeles and earned a Certificate in Hospital Dentistry. From there, he returned to the University of California at San Francisco and received his certificate in Periodontics and Implantology in 1995. In addition to full time clinical practice in downtown San Francisco, Dr. Yonemura has served on the board of the California Society of Periodontists and has been a volunteer faculty at UCSF since 1995. He received Board Certification from the American Board of Periodontology in 2003 and is currently serving on that Board of Directors. Dr. Yonemura has published in both basic science and clinical dental journals and has presented at conferences both nationally and internationally
